My artists choice
Robert Fawcett because his black and vague hint of tan color describe the feeling of Chiloe. A warm and hot place where a girl would go to help write a book.
Martin Johnson Heade because of his color. We can use his color for some of the more happy scene or the time of Nadia and Paul Ditson II.
Edwin Charles because his color seems to fit some of the room scene that Maya was living in. I was thinking these dark colors can be used for gritty scenes.
Overall, I think most of these are artists are traditional artists that paints really well. I'm not so sure about style because only a few of them seems to have different style. I'm only looking at colors for them. I feel like we can just take a lot of these artists' colors and put them in our design because it doesn't seem like any of these artists fit the story by their design. I feel like we can go a bit cartoony rather realistic but it's fine either way for me.
